When I photograph the artists of contemporary circus
I have the feeling that they just arrived from another world, or the moon maybe...

When I'm there looking at them I'm completely won over by their talent and beauty
and the capacity to mix irony, acrobatics, stunts and poetry: they are like the ideal man and woman...

When I look at the pictures, I sometimes have the feeling that gravity doesn't exist for them
and they fascinate me as if they were astronauts.
